Who is responsible

What we collect

• Your name, email and, if you give it, WhatsApp number.
• Your birth date, time and place, how sure you are of the time and where it comes from.
• The life events you give us (at least three, with month and year), used only to cross-check your chart.
• For partner readings, your partner's birth details. We email your partner a short notice and ask them to confirm before we begin.
• What you choose to tell us in your request.

Why we use it

We use your details to carry out our contract with you: to prepare and deliver the reading or session you asked for and to contact you about it. We keep records because Indian tax law requires it. Health matters you choose to include in your life events we use only with your separate consent. You must give birth details and life events for us to prepare a reading. No decisions about you are made by automated means. Your birth details are used for your reading only. They never enter our research without your written permission, and we never publish a client's chart.

Translation

When readings in other languages open, we will use machine translation for their general text. We do not send your name, birth details or contact details to these services.

Who processes data for us

• Cloudflare (website hosting and security).
• Google (email).
• WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to write to us there.
• Our payment provider, when payments open (we will name it here before it is used).
• Our scheduling and transactional email services, when they open (named here before use).

Cloudflare and Google may handle data in the USA and other countries, under their standard data protection contracts. Ask us, and we will tell you how our service providers abroad protect your data.

How long we keep it

24 months after your last order, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Payment and invoice records are kept for 8 years because Indian tax law requires it. If you apply to read with us, we use your application only to assess it, and delete it after 12 months.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, and to withdraw consent, by writing to hello@nitimethod.com. Depending on where you live, these rights come from the GDPR and UK GDPR, Japan's APPI, Brazil's LGPD, India's DPDP Act, Canada's PIPEDA and Quebec's Law 25. You can also ask us to limit or stop using your data. We acknowledge data protection complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within one month. You can also complain to your data protection authority, or in India to the Data Protection Board of India.

Québec and Canada

Children

Our services are for adults. You must be 18 or over to book, and we do not knowingly take children's data.
